Job Description:

  • Perform administrative duties in the areas of health benefits, STD, LTD, life insurance, 401K and various soft benefit programs
  • Ensure benefits data, including deductions, in the HRIS system is current and accurate
  • Provide a high level of customer service, timeliness, and efficiency.
  • Maintain all plan documents and reporting and be responsible for responding to audits
  • Manage annual open enrollment process, including communications
  • Communicate continuous improvement recommendations to improve benefits related tasks
  • Ensure all benefits plans, leaves of absence, and COBRA are administered appropriately
  • Provides functional guidance, direction, and education to all levels of employees regarding benefits
  • Work with HR Director and internal departments to maximize plan performance and the employee experience, as well as continually improving processes
  • Act as primary contact and manage third-party vendor relationships to ensure efficient and effective administration of all benefit plans
  • Manage regulatory compliance including but not limited to:  ERISA, COBRA, HIPAA, FMLA, and Disability
  • Full-time position, excellent benefit package, competitive wages, 401K up to 10% match

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree and or Certified Benefits Certification preferred
  • 3-5 years of progressive 401K and benefit administration experience required
  • PHR/SPHR Certification preferred
  • Working knowledge of HRIS and Payroll systems required
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including ability to communicate clearly and concisely both orally and in writing with all levels of management
  • Strong customer focus with the ability to provide a superior customer experience
  • Self-starter with the ability to multi-task
  • Hard-working, detail oriented and committed to producing great end results
  • Must pass drug test, fit-for-duty exam
