Essential Duties of this Opportunity:
The Regional Director is a key leadership position in Barnhart. The Regional Director has the unique role of connecting individual branches that have specific market requirements, with the larger company through common values and programs, to achieve success and growth nationally.
The Regional Director reports to a Senior Vice President of Operations, SVP. The SVP provides counsel and access to Team resources, as well as, performance accountability to lead the branches to maturity. A mature Region has: healthy branches and others moving toward health; a people pipeline that includes several engineers, project managers, sales management; has $80-$100M in revenue that includes Crane Service, machinery moving, highway heavy haul, storage and heavy rigging (cool tools, gantry, slide system, Goldhofer…).
The markets are all types of industrial facilities, construction contractors and commercial properties. Barnhart markets itself as a differentiator amongst industry competitors who seek to be low cost providers. As a solution based company, the need for seasoned, connected business leaders is critical.
Leadership developing a Team and building a strong aligned Culture of Company Mission Statement and Core Values.
Financial skills in leading your Team to build a successful business plan and achieve success metrics.
Project Management experience in construction and/or industrial industries.
Computer Software and Management Reporting expertise in communicating metrics, processes and enhancements.
Mechanically inclined and a proven track record of success in rigging, lifting, fabrication, maintenance or transportation execution.
Education: Bachelor’s degree or sufficient experience.
Experience: Previous Leadership experience preferred.
