Job Description  

  • Buy and sell lifting and hauling equipment
    • Locate, research, negotiate & close each transaction
    • Request and research history reports for purchases
    • Follow up with all paperwork - invoices, bills of sale, titles, etc.
    • Manage and or participate in equipment inspections
  • Ensure surplus equipment is ready to show to potential buyers
  • Operational Testing
  • Complete inspection documentation
  • Manage required repairs
  • Monitor and manage branch equipment needs – additions, dispositions, transfers and leases
  • Establish market pricing for equipment additions, dispositions, internal leases, and annual valuations
  • Some travel is required
  • Other responsibilities as assigned by supervisor

Qualifications

  • One to three years of experience preferably in industrial sales, construction, manufacturing, or professional services
  • Mechanically inclined and a proven track record of success in rigging, lifting, fabrication, maintenance, or transportation execution
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Computer Software (Excel) and Management Reporting expertise in CRM tools
  • The skills to be a self-starting and self-motivated professional
  • Valid driver’s license  
  • Must pass drug test and fit for duty assessment
