Job Description:
Barnhart’s Strategic Account Development Representative (SADR) is responsible for helping to build high quality meeting and opportunity pipelines for our Branch Sales Teams. You will be responsible for generating pipelines within our existing Top Account targets as well as prospecting new customers to help us expand the number of branches within our network. As a member of our Sales & Marketing Team you will work closely with the Vice President of Sales, Business Development Coach, and our Director of Marketing in support of our Branch Sales Teams and our Strategic Account Managers.

What You’ll Do:
Using best-in-class technology platforms you will:

  • Utilize outbound calling programs, email, social media, and web-based technology to connect with customers.
  • Follow prescribed prospecting cadences within targeted customers to build Barnhart brand awareness.
  • Focus on contacting and qualifying customer contacts within identified accounts.
  • Perform second level discovery to uncover key business issues, problems, needs and opportunities for Barnhart work.
  • Use virtual meeting technology to present Barnhart capabilities that address items uncovered during the discovery process.
  • Prospect and develop in-bound leads from Marketing streams.
  • Manage all CRM activity relating to your sales processes.
  • Follow through with our Branch Sales Teams to insure complete and thorough customer handoffs.

What You Need to Succeed:

  • 1-2 years, industry-related experience, or Sales & Marketing degree
  • Proficient listening skills
  • Genuine curiosity
  • Knowledge and experience using PowerPoint, Zoom and Webex
  • Drive, determination, process excellence and high ethical standards
  • Care and understanding of customer needs
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent presentation and persuasive skills
  • Must pass drug test, fit for duty test and background check
