  1. Overview: The Cares Coordinator is a support role dedicated to serve the network of BarnhartCares Teams and encourage engagement in the BarnhartCares programs by employees. The Cares Coordinator will be under the guidance and direction of the Director of the company’s charitable programs.
  2. Purpose: To work with efficiency and professionalism to support the BarnhartCares teams and steward the BarnhartCares programs with excellence and in alignment with the direction set by the GROVE Board.
  3. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
    • Provide day-to-day support to maintain the Cares programs. This includes taking calls and responding to emails from employees and Cares team members
    • Facilitate monthly meetings with Cares Teams from each region to discuss programs and field questions 
    • Travel to new branches to help establish a local Cares team
    • Assist with the preparation of financial and performance report summaries of Cares Programs
    • Perform initial review of Community Care Grant applications for completion and alignment 
    • Maintain relationships with BarnhartCares program providers
    • Maintain forms and documents relating to BarnhartCares
    • Process and submit provider invoices
    • Coordinate food & meeting rooms for Lunch & Learns
    • Serve on the Kingdom Company Group Cares Steering Committee. 
    • Accepting other duties as assigned

  5. Qualifications
    • The ideal candidate will possess:
      • Bachelor’s degree or sufficient related work experience
      • Excellent interpersonal skills
      • Proficient computer skills – in particular, Microsoft Office
      • Excellent written and oral communication skills
      • Must possess a valid driver’s license
      • Must pass a drug test and background check
    • The ideal candidate will demonstrate:
      • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information in a professional and ethical manner
      • Working knowledge of and interest in philanthropy and serving community needs
      • Initiative to generate and maintain performance reporting related to various BarnhartCares programs.
      • Adaptability with on-going improvement and change
      • Self-motivation and attention to detail
      • Ability to plan, organize and execute daily requirements
      • Organizational skills, ability to multi-task, and willingness to collaborate
